Automobile Journalists Association of Canada names their picks for the best new vehicles in Canada for 2018.
When buying a new vehicle, there are a lot of factors to consider before making your final purchase decision: there’s your budget, of course, but there’s also the car’s performance, handling, comfort, safety features, fuel efficiency, and auto insurance rates to name just a few. If the truth be known, unless you’re really into cars or work in the automotive industry, it can be a lot to take in. As a result, many car buyers, over the course of doing their research, turn to the people whose job it is to evaluate, test drive and write about the new vehicles on the market: the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC).
Every year, AJAC selects the vehicles they feel are best-in-class in their category, and this year’s winners have recently been announced. If you’re in the market to buy a new vehicle this year, the following autos may be worth a test drive.

Shopping for a new car? Shop for auto insurance too.
Whether you buy one of the vehicles that made AJAC's list or go for one that topped somebody else's list, don’t let the cost of auto insurance stop you from buying the car you desire. If you’re in the market to buy a new vehicle, compare auto insurance quotes for the coverage you need at a better price. It takes only a few minutes, and could save you hundreds of dollars on your auto insurance.
